A binary time-piece
November 27, 2008 on 3:41 pm | In Uncategorized, Clothes, Geek stuff | No Comments
This watch displays time in binary format. It uses LED lights to display the time. The watch face contains 10 red LEDs that are used to indicate the numbers of the binary sequence (1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32) and the values of the lighted LEDs are added to determine the time. There are two rows of LEDs - the top row for the hours and the bottom row for the minutes. With a little practice you can learn to read this time format easily. Won’t it be fun the next time someone asks you “what time is it?” and you can enjoy their bewildered expression when you flash your wrist emblazoned with glowing binary? Yes it will, you quietly smirk to yourself. This watch also has a soft leather band, a circuitboard watch face, and stainless steel back and casing. It is water resistant to 3 atmospheres and comes with batteries.

The Pong Dress
February 11, 2007 on 1:11 am | In Fun Stuff, Clothes | No Comments
The Pong Dress is the creation of artists Max Moswitzer and Magarete Jahrmann of the Ludic Society.
The classic video game Pong is implemented on a 5×7 LED screen worked into the front of the dress. Two pixels on the right and left borders form the paddles; a single pixel is the “ball” moving back and forth.
At hip level, two retro-style game console controllers are plugged in to play the game. Every time a point is scored, the green score display at chest level blinks.
T-Qualiser Graphic Equaliser T-Shirt
January 20, 2007 on 9:41 am | In Toys, Clothes | No Comments
Stand out in the crowd with this great T-Shirt. As the music beats the shirt’s sound-sensitive graphic bars move up and down just like a graphic equaliser. Different frequencies of music will effect the different bars, just like the graphic equaliser on your home music system.
Great for parties, clubs, discos, gigs, concerts and anywhere else you go to listen to music.
